We stayed at Podere Casanova in Tuscany for three nights, and it was absolutely wonderful — truly one of my favorite places I’ve ever stayed. The estate is a picture-perfect Tuscan dream, with stunning views and so much love and care poured into every detail. Surrounded by olive trees, with a glorious pool and beautifully maintained grounds, it offers complete peace and quiet — a true escape in the heart of nature. Each apartment is charming, thoughtfully decorated, and includes its own private outdoor area, making our stay feel both cozy and luxurious. Even before we arrived, we were welcomed with genuine warmth by Lisa, the owner, and once we arrived everyone who works or helps out there was great. The hospitality was exceptional and heartfelt — you can truly feel the passion behind everything they do. Breakfast was a highlight: it was individually prepared and offered a wide range of choices, from gluten-free bread and focaccia to oat and soy milk, along with delicious vegetarian and vegan options. It was served at our chosen time, either in the shared dining space or directly at our apartment’s outdoor area — a lovely, personal touch. On two evenings, dinner was available on-site — a selection of pizzas, salads, and cheese and meat platters made with local products. We had the chance to dine in once, and the food was absolutely delicious, full of flavor and regional charm. If I could give 10 stars, I would. Podere Casanova is a slice of Tuscan paradise, and I will absolutely return. Every detail is just right.
Everything about our stay was perfect. Highly recommend staying here, especially if you have kids! Super easy to get to Florence, Pisa and Siena from here, and the owner Lisa went above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed our stay in Tuscany.
Perfect location, amazing view :) we stayed 3 nights here and its not enough to discover the area. The house is nice designed but would be perfect if there is setting area on the living room because it has very little couch for 2 persons and not comfortable. As well the dining room not comfortable for eating as the dining chairs are more down (shorts) than the dining table. Expect to have Heteroptera we found 7 at least :p Breakfast is amazing, Lisa brings it to your apartment on the requested time. She sells local olive oil and wine in very good price, take with you as gifts too. Wifi is strong, heating is by AC.
