Podere La Strega

Podere la Strega was our favorite place to stay during our Italian trip. The grounds themselves are beautiful and the location is close to town. The views of Siena and the surrounding countryside are startling. It was wonderful to swim in the pool in the evening after a long, hot day in town. The owners are so hospitable and kind. Breakfast was included every morning and the food was delicious. We even had a cooking class our fist night that was so much fun. We hope to one day return to Siena and would definitely stay at Podere la Strega again.

Insanely beautiful stop along our travels! The owners are the sweetest and incredibly attentive. You can tell they enjoy hosting others and make it their goal to make everyone happy and comfortable. We were there during a big town event and everything shut down - they went out of their way to order us dinner from a local restaurant and pick it up for us. The villa and rooms were beautiful!

Gorgeous views of Siena from the pool area. Very pretty areas to sit and the breakfast area was lovely. Very tasty breakfast. Location good but would recommend a car. The owners are very friendly. The only negative from us was the room we had on the ground floor - it was a little dark and had a damp smell. Could maybe do with a little update but not much to still keep the feel of the place/decor. We were only booked in for one night so didn't request to change etc and the rest of it was so lovely. Would recommend.
