First, the house: It's spacious, comfortable and tastefully decorated to a high standard without being pretentious. It has everything you need and the views from the windows and patios over the hills are lovely and peaceful. The beds are extraordinarily comfortable for when you need to fall into them after imbibing lots of wine! The area: This was my first visit to Umbria and I loved exploring the charming hillside villages, wine tasting and eating at some truly wonderful restaurants. Great food, delicious wine, stunning scenery, what more could you want, really? The host: Chiara is an exceptional host. She goes above and beyond above and beyond for her guests: arranging tours and meals, providing local insight and anticipating everyone's needs. Example: I was travelling from the UK to meet friends at the Podere and needed some help figuring out directions without a car. Chiara was outstanding in her willingness to research and provide information for me. I was so touched by her warmth and kindness. Truly second-to-none hospitality. Podera Molinaccio is an absolutely stunning property located in a beautiful and secluded landscape. The property is immaculate from top to bottom, from the tastefully furnished bedrooms to the manicured grounds. Chiara was an impeccable host, we were made to feel extremely welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Our family loved our stay so much we booked it again. 10/10

The most magical week imaginable. Podere Molinaccio is ideally located in Umbria with access to sites, cities and activities throughout Umbria and Tuscany. The villa is beautiful, comfortable, relaxed and close to the ancient hilltop town of Panicale; itself a great place to explore. Chiara is an incredible host. Like having a close friend who lives in Italy connect you with best local people and activities. Chiara works tirelessly to make sure you are comfortable and enjoying the best of the Valdichiana region. Don't miss the truffle hunt with the Filosi brothers (Stanley Tucci fame) and their amazing Lagotta dogs (Livio is the best). Already dreaming of our next visit with Chiara and Podere Molinaccio.
