We were guests for 2 nights and had a great time. Carlo, the owner, is very hospitable and helpful and attentive to our needs. He also gave us excellent advice for a typical dinner. The property has a heated swimming pool that is worth a try. The apartment we stayed in had everything we needed. The location is very good, you can enjoy a beautiful view of the city of Pescia.
Location perfetta per rilassarsi, con piscina, proprietari gentilissimi e super disponibili, panorama bellissimo. Comodo per raggiungere le località vicine (Collodi, Lucca, Montecarlo...) Consigliatissimoo anche per famiglie.
Beautiful farmhouse just above Pescia, immersed in the woods. Upon arrival we were greeted by the host's brother who accompanied us to our apartment. We climbed some stairs with very high steps, I had some difficulty due to back problems, there is no handrail I had to hold on to a low wall, because the "staircase" remains external to the structure. Once you reach the top you immediately find the terrace for the exclusive use of our home, with a table and barbecue. The interior is graceful, spacious and equipped with all comforts, with air conditioning in the lounge and bedroom. The bathroom is very small, there is no shelf for towels, the shower has a plastic curtain and even if you are careful you get wet everywhere. We stayed four nights and they never changed the sheets or towels. You sleep well, the bed is comfortable and there are no noises. We used the swimming pool, which we really appreciated because it was incredibly hot and we enjoyed being in the water. But there is no umbrella at the pool and whoever arrives first, to have a little shade, takes up position under an olive tree. But there is a maximum of two people in it. Furthermore, in the pool there is only sun in the morning, until the very early afternoon. Having lunch/dinner on our terrace was delightful due to the coolness provided by the trees, in fact the forest is close to the wall of the apartment. The owner, the host's father, is super nice, and works hard to satisfy the guests. Every morning he swept the leaves from the terrace, and went out of his way to recommend places to visit, where to have dinner, etc... And above all, he told us to pay attention in the evening when returning home, to the wild boars that we could find on the road. In fact, the last stretch of road to get home is a dirt road and you pass through woods. We still have good memories of our holiday in Tuscany, apart from the heat we liked Pescia and returning to Lucca.
