My husband and I spent five unforgettable days of our honeymoon at the Podere Terreno. Cristina, the host, was wonderful—kind, knowledgeable, and always willing to help. She made us feel like part of the family, and her warmth set the tone for our entire stay. The traditional Tuscan dinners served roughly every three nights, were home-cooked, authentic, and delicious. The breakfasts were consistent, providing both sweet and savory options, which made for a perfect start to our days. We noticed that they were happy to accommodate any dietary restrictions. There was no shortage of activities, both on-site and nearby. We enjoyed horseback riding, which was just a short 30-minute drive away, and spent an hour exploring a scenic trail. Cristina also hosted a private cooking class, where we learned to make traditional dishes in their professional kitchen. The dishes we prepared were later served for dinner, making the experience even more special. The wine tasting was another highlight; it was both informative and enjoyable, giving us a deeper appreciation for the farm's history and the wonderful wines we got to sample. One of the unexpected delights of our stay was the opportunity to meet other guests from all over. Everyone was friendly and eager to help us practice our Italian, making the experience feel even more like a cultural exchange. We enjoyed spending time in the various beautiful spots around the property, whether it was relaxing with a glass of wine or playing fetch with their charming dog, Dex, who quickly won our hearts. Our room was clean, and comfortable, with a stunning view of the Tuscan countryside. Everything worked perfectly, and the shower was particularly nice, which we appreciated after long days of activities. By the end of our stay, we felt like we had become part of a new family, and our only regret was that we couldn't stay longer. Podere Terreno and Cristina made our honeymoon truly special, and we can't wait to return one day.

The hospitality and service is what made this place a lovely experience. Cristina is an incredibly kind and accommodating host, who went out of her way to make our stay as comfortable as possible. My wife, I and our 3 month old baby stayed here for 5 nights to attend our friends' wedding nearby. It was our first trip with our baby and Cristina was extremely empathetic of our needs - from being very flexible on our lunch & dinner requests/timing, to driving late at night to get my wife emergency medication. Big shout out to Nepi as well who cooked us a wonderful breakfast each morning and special gluten-free dishes for my coeliac wife. The room was clean, spacious and quiet - perfect for our family.
