We had our wedding ceremony at the Podere Val D'Orcia Resort in September 2024 and absolutely loved our small intimate wedding there! The scenery is the best that I have seen in Tuscany and could not be more stunning. The food was delicious and the team went above and beyond to make sure our day was perfect and it was! Selene is incredibly warm and kind! She went out of her way to help us with last minute errands (locating a steamer for our dresses, buying a shawl for the bride because the weather was cold). More than that, she treated us like family and even sang a couple songs at our small wedding dinner. We are very much looking forward to returning for our wedding anniversary. The location of the Podere is peaceful and perfect for disconnecting for a few days. The food is incredible and the entire team goes above and beyond for guests. Highly recommend!!!
I stayed here with my husband, my in-laws, and my mother in the last week of August. We stayed four nights but I could have stayed forever! Selene was so welcoming and the rooms were spacious and just relaxing. The food was also amazing - we loved our evenings looking over the beautiful valley enjoying our cocktails before dinner. We didn’t use the spa but did have a chance to take a quick dip in the pool and the jacuzzi - both had amazing views as well. We loved everything about this place.
Amazing resort ! The restaurant on site is top notch and the staff is wonderful The views from the villas and the main house are breathtaking We had a cooking class making ravioli, tagliatelle and tiramisu with Selene on site which was so much fun and delicious The sunsets are stunning and the spa is a bonus addition to the resort There are even windows in the sauna!!! We did not horseback ride but the horses are gorgeous to see grazing in the fields and in the stables Selene helped us plan our days and visit surrounding towns I can’t say enough wonderful things about this resort, the accommodations and the food We left feeling like we gained a new family with everyone there
