Poggio Al Palio

We couldn't have asked for a better and more typical place to stay in our small stay in Tuscany. The location is perfect, so quiet, exactly what we were looking for. The are is huge, it has a nice swimming pool, a huge main building and a few small cottages, where we stayed. that gives you a nice privacy. The service is awesome, for real! we got there a bit later than the check-in and everything around was close and we had nothing to eat, but the owner of the villa offer herself to cook us something quickly. And let me tell you, better than some restaurants gives you. We loved our stay here and at the end we bought an olive oil made from their own olive trees and it was the best olive oil I've ever tried, delicious. Couldn't recommend it enough.

Few day is not enough. You will wish to stay longer and longer and longer… unique combination of nature and hospitality. Francesca is very kind person. If you have some question she has warmly recomandation and reply. Cosy and very clean place. Swimming pool as well. We will come back.

Aside from getting poor directions to finding the remote resort, we were pleased with the accommodation...much better to get one floor apartment rather than a 2 floor cottage, which also was a bit more remote (and without internet). we were disappointed that the resort was a bit far from Siena (about 40 minutes away)...overall, good "value for money" in a quiet location.
