Great hotel, very close to the highway if you need a rest after a long drive. Butbit is very quiet, you don't hear the motorway at all. Nicely renovated rooms. We love the driver's room, where you can park right in the front of your room. Rooms are nice clean, big shower, comfortable bad. And everyone at the reception is very kind. The hotel is also walking distance to the city center. We have been stopping in this hotel for over 12 years now, and it never was a disappointment.
Stayed here for one night during our honeymoon trip from Milan to Barcelona. The room was nice overall. The wooden beams on the roof were a nice touch. The crib we had requested was placed to the room - shame it had two quite large holes on the side which was a safety risk. It was also nice to see they use the larger refillable soaps in the bathrooms. In this occasion the shower gel bottle was empty tho 😣 what made the stay even more sad was the breakfast - or well the lack of it. One of the two coffee machines was broken and the second spilled all the coffee in a nice curve to the floor. Half the breakfast table was of different types of marmalade and the other half was of sugar cakes. There was supposedly eggs and bacon but once the staff was notified of the empty plates we were brought 4 slices of bacon to share after a long wait and none was filled to the buffet itself. You might think they weren’t filling the buffet cause it was so late, well we were there at 8:15 while the buffet was from 7-10am. No allergen information on sight, very limited options if you are with food allergies😣 Great access to the highway, walking distance to center 👍🏼
Don’t go there!!!! The hotel is very old and smell bad, the pool is small and dirty, no comfy pools chairs around it and it is located at the same place where the entrance is, right next to the tables of breakfast. Small and uncomfortable. We’ve been there for two nights and no one was cleaning the pool. Additionally, the only open air place upstairs is also dirty with old artificial grass and where there use to be a jacuzzi there are constructions now and no one thought to tell us before arrival nor apologise for the inconvenience, instead the only answer we got for our complains was it is what it is!!! If you want to take a walk, be sure you don’t have a stroller, there are very narrow stairs to go down to the village. Last and not least, the coffee at breakfast was burnt and the machines were dirty. In general disappointing and definitely not a 4 stars hotel!!!
