Poggio Leano Resort

Wow! This small boutique hotel is unbelievably beautiful - it’s absolutely the best place we have ever stayed. The outside areas are incredibly peaceful and very well kept, and the pool is to die for! Our rooms felt luxurious and we slept well every night. The team at the hotel were very warm and friendly. Oh and the breakfasts are great - something different on offer every day. It’s the ultimate in luxury without feeling pretentious in any way. Would 100% recommend. Tip: If you’re debating what room to go for, definitely pick one of the ones with the outside patio at the back. We really enjoyed our evenings enjoying the outdoor seating whilst playing card games. Another tip: we planned a few day trips and managed to get to Ragusa and a few nearby towns, but we ended up staying at the hotel a fair bit more than planned, as it was too enticing! Another tip: try the ice cream shop in Donnalucata - it’s amazing!

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Poggio Leano for 7 nights October 6th - 13th. Even before we arrived, months in advance, Mirella, the owner took several of my phone calls and answered all of my many questions and offered great suggestions. We were a multi generational group of 7 people. The staff and service was outstanding. The rooms were very comfortable, clean and very relaxing and tastesfully decorated. The pool area, outdoor dining and the rest of the grounds were also kept very clean and comfortable and offered a serene atmosphere. Serafina and Chiara and the rest of the staff were wonderful and made our stay so very special and personal. They were very helpful in organizing taxi's and a wine tour. The breakfast was delicious with a variety of many regional favorite foods, juices, and coffees. I will definitely stay here again! We loved it!
