This place made our stay unforgettable! The monkeys are amazing, the nature around is beautiful, and the views from the pool and the restaurant are just stunning. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, everything is very clean, and the rooms are comfortable. The restaurant is pretty good and the breakfast is absolutely delicious (other dishes are also worth trying!). We even had a rainy morning with monkeys visiting our terrace, and it was magical to watch them right from our room 💚 The location is also perfect: only 10 minutes from Ao Nang, with a free shuttle every couple of hours. That means you’re surrounded by peace and nature, but still close to everything. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a relaxing stay close to nature, with great service and all the comfort!
We had a great stay here. The monkeys were incredibly entertaining to watch from inside our room, just be sure to lock your doors as instructed and not leave items on the porch. Wonderful bar and pool area and the staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend
First of all, I’d like to warn the people planning to book the little villas with a private pool. The resort built these little tiny houses only recently and offers them at a more than double rate compared to a standard room. Also these tiny houses are built besides the main resort and do not come with any view. As we booked on short notice, we did not realise all of that, as only the little villas were available on the booking platform. Reason I’m highlighting this is that although you now spend over €120 per night during low season (for that price you will find way better options in the area), you still have to deal with the nonchalant attitude of the majority of the staff (for every slightest request you have, they politely decline and look away), not well maintained resort and bad breakfast. Furthermore, I have to highlight the following: - The laundry machine is very dirty (see picture) and we decided to do our laundry inside the village of Ao Nang. - The gym is not well maintained (no AC and smelly) and you are better off doing your workout somewhere outside. - The breakfast is served on plastic plates and the additonally ordered coffee from the machine (as only instant coffee is part of the buffet) was undrinkable - we had to return it. - As I wanted to use the bicycle to do my laundry about 1km away, the staff told me that the free bicycle rental is only meant for within the resort. I really struggle to understand on why anyone would rent a bike to not leave the resort haha. - When we came home from Ao Nang shortly after midnight, the guy at the reception was not even looking up from his phone as we walked past him, being the only ones around at that time. It’s the small things that make an experience bad overall. - The little villas are advertised with 72m2. However, important to know, the bedroom is only around 20m2 and has no desk or chair (only a bed, tv and a thing to put your suitcase on). Also, the bathroom lacks real lights, which makes it very dark in the evening – do not try to shave after the sun is down. However - on a positive note - what I liked was the water fountain button for the private pool and the room was always cleaned well. Nonetheless, this is not quite enough for a three-star review.
