Stayed just one night in static unit on site. Unit (static caravan with outside decking very good. Easy access to pools (outside & inside) and club facilities very easy. Forest walk attached for dogs. 6 of us there with 3 dogs.

A great value stay in a fantastic location and good facilities. The forest next to the park is a real plus, with beautiful, peaceful walks I would imagine perfect for dog walkers. However, the park itself has good facilities with a lovely indoor and outdoor pool and play areas my kids loved. Our caravan was clean and modern, if a little uncomfortable thanks to a not so great bed. Would happily recommend this to anyone looking for a lovely holiday park in the area.

⭐ Peaceful setting and good base for exploring, but food and some facilities missed the mark. Stayed at Oakdene Caravan Park for a family break—great location with lovely forest surroundings and easy access to the New Forest, Bournemouth, and some brilliant countryside walks. 🏡 The caravan itself was clean and well-equipped, and the site felt very safe—we often saw kids roaming around on bikes and scooters, which gave the place a relaxed, family-friendly feel. 🔑 Check-in wasn’t so smooth. Reception was closed when we arrived, and although we’d received a key code by email, there was no mention of our caravan number. We had to track down a staff member to find out where we were meant to be staying—not ideal after a long drive. 🛝 The play areas were quite small and didn’t really match the number of children on site. They got crowded quickly. 🏊‍♂️ The swimming pool was a hit though—kids loved it. Entry was managed in hourly slots using coloured wristbands, which made perfect sense when it got busy. Simple system, and it kept things under control without feeling restrictive. 🍽️ Food was unfortunately a letdown. We tried the on-site restaurant once, but it was underwhelming—basic and overpriced. We ended up eating off-site for the rest of the trip. 🎯 Pro tip: Bring your own food or explore the local area for much better dining options. ✅ Overall: Oakdene is a good base for families looking to explore the area, but the on-site experience could be improved—especially check-in, dining, and child-friendly facilities.
