Port Douglas Peninsula Boutique Hotel Adults Only Haven

We don’t usually write reviews but the service at Peninsula Boutique Hotel was excellent and deserves reviewing. We stayed for 5 nights and cannot fault the service from beginning to end. The management and staff were exceptional. The location is second to none being right across from 4 mile beach and 50 metres from the town. They had an Italian night with a live singer and thoroughly enjoyed the food and entertainment. On our departure day our pre booked uber did not show up and subsequent attempts to get another were unsuccessful. The hotel manager went above and beyond and personally drove us to the airport in his private car. Great relief for us! Cannot more highly recommend for a relaxing holiday

We stayed at this hotel last week with our family and had a wonderful experience. The hotel staff kindly arranged rooms next to each other for us, which was very convenient. Though the hotel is old and small, it’s located in a beautiful spot right in front of the beach.Breakfast was included and came in big portions with amazing food. We also enjoyed dinner at the hotel one night, was delicious. The staff were all very friendly, and we want to give special thanks to Shally at the reception.she was extremely helpful and professional. She spoke Italian also, which made us feel even more comfortable during our stay. We had a minor problem with hot water on our second morning, but I informed to her very early, and she took immediate action. It was already fixed by the time we returned from our tour. Overall, the staff and management were wonderful, and this hotel became our favorite place during our Australia tour. Highly recommended!

Nice layout - including a balcony from which one hears the beach Comfy bed Well equipped kitchenette, incl pots and dishwasher Very nice pool area - lots of semisecluded spots with shade and two lounges. Staff were fab. Breakfast was included, time from 6:30am to 1130am, we rocked up at 1129 one day and they were totally charming. One small change: a recycling bin somewhere please. Plus the resort lights in empty rooms were left on all night - I mentioned this to the front office staff, it's clearly an oversight rather than a policy
