A good hotel which is well located for restaurants and the lake with outstanding reception staff (speaking English) who provide a seamless and welcoming experience. The check-in process was efficient, and they recommended an excellent restaurant for that evening and organised a car and driver to take us to La Cumbrecita for the next day. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with a very comfortable bed and air conditioning although a bit small and not suited to someone with mobility issues. The breakfast was ok and so too was the pool, which needed more filtering but was otherwise excellent with plenty of seats and sun canopies around it. Overall highly recommended.
Nothing fancy, no ambience, minimal presentation...just a darn good parilla! Come here prepared to eat beef, pork, and chicken. Suggested side dishes are a nice tossed salad and an order of fries. Very reasonably priced, great value. Highly recommend!
I'd like to start with service, the moment we walked in no one greeted us. No hi, or anything. Instead we were asked. what do we want? When we got our room assigned, it was not what I had reserved on booking dot com. When we got to the room, the room had a urine smell and I went to the front desk and complained about it, they did not change our room, Instead they spread a room freshener. Not because I'm angry at anyone or anything but to be fair this place is not a 4 star hotel. It's more like 3. I'll explain why. *The rooms are dark and dingy. *the beds are uncomfortable very uncomfortable. * the rooms don't have pillows but sponges. *the hair dryer takes at least 30 minutes to dry a male hair. * the shampoos are hard to use, you have to shake it at least 10 times to get a bit. * you have to have the physical keys to enter the rooms. *the TV s are really old, and they don't offer any English channels, I'm not even talking about being smart TV s. And of course there are pros, The view is totally worth it. The place is generally clean. The food at the restaurant is really good, I loved it but most of all the location makes up for everything. To sum up, the service was not all that if I were to receive a good service the moment I walked in, I would have forget all the cons and leave a FIVE STAR but the service is not welcoming and friendly at all. it's bad. The front desk is VERY RUDE...
