Portes Beach Hotel

I spent a whole week at this hotel, and I really liked it! The hotel is truly excellent — everything is top-notch. The food deserves special praise: breakfasts, lunches, and dinners were very tasty. Although the menu is limited, there is always something delicious and satisfying to eat. The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, keeping everything clean and tidy around the clock. The hotel grounds, pool, and beach are all very clean, cozy, and beautifully arranged. It’s nice to take walks, and there are plenty of great spots for photos. Overall, for those who want to spend time in a calm and cozy atmosphere and take a break from the hectic daily life, this hotel is simply superb!

Great hotel, good food, staff very friendly.. only negative is location there is nothing outside the hotel within walking distance, free shuttle bus is available to the local towns you just need to book it the day before.. sun sets are amazing….

We traveled as a couple there. The total experience was medium, but I won't recommend it to young people. There is nothing in the near or no place for walking. The hotel is directly near the highway. You need to rent a car, but if you rent it from the hotel then they will charge a lot. Even if you rent a taxi from them, it's expensive. Better to rent it from the airport directly. The room cleaning service was awful. They did the bare minimum. On our first day, we found an used towel in the toilet. They forgot to refill the shower gel for three days. We even put the empty bottle outside so that they see it, but don't know how they managed to ignore it all the time. There is only one small bathtub which can be problematic for the older generation. Breakfast was mostly the same. Lunch was okay. Dinner was good with many options. I noticed the waitresses there, were not so motivated to work. They need some professional workers there. The pool is very small. There is one kids pool which in my opinion is completely unnecessary. Most of the kids were using the main pool. They could make a bigger pool instead of two pools. The pool bar has not many varieties of cocktails or alcohol. The quality is very poor. It tastes like water. The massage in the wellness area was good. It's very green inside the hotel, but there are lots of mosquitoes there. The rooms are also very old. Since it's near the highway, it can be very loud. We enjoyed our stays there, but won't go back again.
