Perfect place to stay if you’re visiting Portland! In a great location- very easy to walk to restaurants, bars, and the ferry. The rooms are clean, and the service is very attentive. Although valet is $45/day, it’s super convenient and you know where your vehicle is. The $35 daily resort fee can be used on room service/the restaurant/ bar which we used after a long day of exploring! I would highly recommend staying here!

What a phenomenal experience. We were greeted at the front desk by Adam, who was effusive when we let slip some details about some very good news we planned to share with our family in Maine later in our visit. About fifteen minutes after we checked into our room, Adam knocked on our door and gave us a congratulatory gift from the hotel. It was such a thoughtful, genuine thing to do, and it was deeply appreciated. That positive interaction, and the personal touch provided by all the staff we interacted with, left us feeling cared for and welcomed. We've stayed at plenty of hotels, but many are a simple turnkey experience without a personal touch. The Portland Harbor Hotel is actually committed to the art of hospitality, and it was a joy to stay with them. We will one hundred percent be going back!

The location of this hotel is perfect if you want to walk around downtown Portland. The room was clean and comfortable for three days. Regarding the $45 a night parking, it's cheaper than the nearby public lots, which have terrible reviews. Plus, when the snow came my car was underground. However, they tell you to message them when you need your car. I did and waited 15 minutes with no response. Went down there and the kid was on his phone. So that's not super reliable. Additionally, there's a $35 a night amenities fee included. They say you'll have a credit to use towards room service, but with a $5 room delivery fee and 20 percent tip automatically included on top of high prices, that's not going to go very far. This is a good hotel for adults, especially seniors. I enjoyed my stay but now that I know the city I might opt for something else next time.
