Portland Marriott Downtown Waterfront

I stay here for a visit every year. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Every single staff member is friendly and helpful, from the front desk to theose who clean the rooms daily. Getting the M Room breakfasts is a great plan as food is delicious and service is outstanding! Crystal, a waitress in the M room is especially awesome and takes great care of customers. Visitors also have access to a gym for working out any time. I highly recommend this hotel right by the river front, where you can pick a room with a beautiful view!

Overall, it was a wonderful 15-day stay. The room was very modern and clean. The balcony was a nice feature. You can look out over Portland downtown or the waterfront. Mind you, it was only a foot wide, but it let's the air in and let's you peer out. Housekeeping kept the room clean and the towels refreshed. The staff are what made the stay feel like home. Brad, the manager, mingled and was alwats available to answer any questions. The text service for maintenance worked. Fast effective service. The food at the restaurant was excellent, and the servers were chill and fun. If Jason is at the bar, you'll be in good hands. The laundry room is clean and the credit card tap was cool vs quarters. Lastly, everyone at the M Club became family in no time. Jose, Crystal, Angel... whether it was in the morning or the evening, you felt at home. The food and beverage selection was great! The staff made it awesome. I will be back.

Came to Portland for work and this has, without a doubt, been one of the best stays at a Marriott I have ever had the pleasure of experiencing. The staff, starting with: the front desk who dealt with many questions and a room change to have the Mt Hood view; the housekeeping staff giving superior service every day, including arrangements of my toiletries in neat order each day and being friendly; the lounge attendants being very diligent in their duties and a pleasure to speak to each morning. The room was comfortable; I loved the beds and the attention to detail in making sure I had a feather-free room. The beds were soft yet firm and I am glad there is a thermostat that is easier to work than others. Overall, I cannot recommend this hotel enough and if work ever brings me back to Portland (or even pleasure travel), this is the hotel I will be staying in.
