We held our daughter's wedding reception at the Sheraton Sable Oaks and could not have been happier!! Meg, the event coordinator, was so wonderful from start to finish! She answered our many questions and always got back to us in a timely manner. It was so wonderful to know the venue would be set up just as we asked and when the reception concluded it was the best feeling not to have to clean everything up! The staff gathered everything for us in a room to be picked up the next day. The staff at the event were exceptional and all our guests commented on how good the food was! The staff also helped us pull off a sparkler exit for the bride and groom to their limo! The night was perfect, Sheraton was so beautiful, and the staff top notch!

We stayed at the Sheraton in Portland for 1 night as we had an event to attend. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. We had a cute little patio to step out onto as well. The room provided multiple power/outlet options and a mini fridge with two complimentary waters. I was surprised that the trash and recycling bin was so small, you could barely fit anything in it. If you wanted any additional amenities they could be provided to you however, you would have to call the front desk and ask for them. One of which was a bathrobe. The bathroom provided what seemed to be quality and nicely scented shampoo, conditioner, body wash and hand soap. We only had half a roll of toilet paper and no overstock. Lastly, the bathtub had a weird stain in it. For a bit over $300 per night I was expecting a bit more. Overall, our stay was comfortable and we felt safe.

First off I would like to say, location was good. However, that is the only good thing I have to say about this hotel. I am honestly surprised that it has 4 stars as I am writing this review. My wife and I stayed here for 8 days and 7 nights and I do not think they had changed our sheets ONE time. We had spotted a couple stains on each of the beds and noticed that they just flipped the pillows and moved them to the other bed. As you walk into the room, you are greeted by a cute little bathroom with a night vanity mirror with lights, a mini fridge with 2 complimentary bottles of water, two full mattresses, only one night stand with a lamp, a light bar behind the TV, an electric table with only one chair, a 55” TV that offers Netflix, YouTube, Amazon prime video and a few more options, but do not expect to use them because you will not connect to the servers due to “poor connection.” See the picture of the Pistachio on the carpet, that was there when we walked into the room on day one and it was there when we left on day 8. They claim they change the sheets every 3 days, they do not. I had left a note for the housekeeper asking, “Could we please have some more shower product?” And left it by the coffee machine. When my wife and I came back to the room, the note was removed but no more products were given with the exception of two towels. Which brings me to the next picture; this was a “New” “Clean” and “Fresh” towel. There is a dark brown stain that resembles a “skid mark” I don’t know about you, but I would not dry my clean body off with something that looks like someone wiped their butt with. The AC unit had to be set on 60 for it to get to 69 degrees at night and during the day it would get up to 74 degrees in the room with the curtains closed and AC on high. After spending $3,000 to stay here, I expected to at the very least, watch Netflix.
