Porto Seguro Eco Bahia Hotel

Location was close to airport and not much else. The rooms leave much to be desired—very dated and lacking any personality. The pool area needs some serious renovations but does the trick for a quick one night stay. No outside food or drinks in public areas which was too bad because their food was quite mediocre.

Good location, close to the airport. The rooms are bare, no hot water in the shower, most power outlets didn't work. Never checked the 20in TV. Restaurant in the hotel is mediocre at best, with large portions at a premium but lack quality. Amenities are good, the pool is great. You can tell that they need to invest more to update the infrastructure and the rooms. It's a nice place to stay, but it's not a 4 star hotel.

After 20 days in Brazil, this was the worst place we stayed: dirty and very poor desk service.. We needed a place near the airport to leave early in the morning so we made an investment of 120€, so we could have a good rest... 120€ are almost 800BR, and having in consideration that the minimum wage in Brazil is less than 2.000BR, we were expecting something nice, but... When we arrived in the room, we found papers on the floor and dirt and hair on the WC. We obviously complained and they offered us an even worse room... 😀 😃 The service and the food at the restaurant were very good and the service was excellent, too. But, there's a huge cleaning challenge at the rooms, that's for sure.. The resting was miserable too, due to the noise of clients partying with loud music, talking, etc..
