This hotel is located in a great location with fantastic views over the coastline. Reception and general areas are well presented. Bedroom was slightly dated and in need of some attention, but very functional with safe and toiletries provided. Rooms either face the coast or inland directly over parking, and were serviced every day. Buffet breakfast was plentiful but felt a bit samey after 7 days, we had the Buffet dinner one evening but I can't say that it was value for money @ €33pp and I'm glad we ventured out in the evenings for food instead. Il Bascilico bar restaurant was good for getting drinks or a snack during the day. Some staff were very friendly, some others not so much. There were plenty of sunbeds around for guests even despite other guests reserving beds before 8am. What is really lovely about this place is there are a couple of seating areas that max the views if you want to get away from the pool. Would recommend a stay for the location.

Overall the hotel is great and the location on a cliff overlooking the ocean is gorgeous. The staff is caring and attentive. The rooms are a bit old and especially the bathrooms could use an upgrade. The showers are old and in a bathtub no actual shower. The water went everywhere. As well the wifi wasn’t stable and we would get kicked out at least 5 times a day. But these are minor things and we would def come back.

This hotel is officially rated 4 stars, but in reality, it barely deserves 2. First of all, the pool is a disaster. There's only one main pool, and it’s almost always green — clearly not cleaned or maintained properly. It smells heavily of chlorine, but the water doesn’t get changed for weeks, sometimes even months. Second, the breakfasts are extremely poor. There's hardly anything to choose from, and if you're vegetarian, good luck — you’ll be stuck with some fruit, and even that is mostly offered at dinner. The juices served at breakfast taste weird and fizzy, like they’ve gone off — definitely not fresh. Third, they advertised that the water in the nearby lagoon would be warm — that’s absolutely false. The water is freezing cold. We were expecting a comfortable swim, but it was unbearable. The rooms are old and poorly maintained. Cracked walls, dirty bathrooms, and when we checked in — after being asked to wait three hours for "cleaning" — the toilet was still dirty. Not acceptable. There are no activities in this hotel, even though they promised entertainment and animation. The only thing we saw was some kind of water aerobics class — that's it. No real shows, no fun, nothing. Meanwhile, the hotel right across the street (I think it’s called 3HB Guarana or something like that) has amazing entertainment, pool parties, music — you name it. Here, the only "entertainment" is the bar, and occasionally they have some live music in the evening, but honestly, it’s really bad. Also, the pools are not heated. In the middle of summer, with 40°C outside, the pool water was only 19°C. It doesn’t warm up, and they don’t heat it either. Almost everyone ended up sick — coughing, sneezing — because of how cold it is. Dinner? Very hit or miss. Sometimes you leave hungry. Seafood and fish are only served every other day, and the overall variety is poor. Honestly, this was one of the worst hotels we’ve stayed at. Definitely not 4 stars. It feels more like 2. Very disappointed!!!
