It was a great pleasure to stay at this hotel for three weeks. The hotel itself is excellent, but what makes it truly special is the people who work there. Please, when you stay, be kind to the staff – they work hard every day to make everyone feel welcome, and you will notice that in their genuine smiles. Overall, it was one of the best experiences of my life, and I highly recommend it. P.S. When you go for breakfast, you will be greeted by Iris. She works tirelessly to make everyone feel at home and has such a pleasant personality. Please say hi to her from me. And don’t miss a good laugh with Brasiliano, he will brighten your mornings. Booked a sea view suite for a relaxing getaway and PortoBay met all expectations. The hotel is in a very convenient location in Copacabana, with plenty of restaurants, grocery and shopping all in walking distance. Was greeted with a welcome drink on arrival (actually 2 bc there was a wait) and the room was excellent. Very comfortable bed with high quality linens, clean, excellent air conditioning, awesome water pressure and everything was exactly as pictured. If I had to nitpick, the only two things was the elevator was a bit slow and the water got hot very easily - seemed to go from cool to hot and was hard to get it to be just warm. But neither of these would sway me from returning. Would recommend this hotel.

Hello, The entire staff here was excellent! Everyone there was extremely helpful, friendly, and professional. Noteworthy, was Thiago. He frequently assisted me with a fantastic check in experience and many inquiries I had during my stay. He also was able to arrange for a late checkout for a reasonable price. He was excellent, as was all others behind the counter, in the lobby, breakfast, the restaurant, etc. The hotel itself was also very nice all around. My sincere compliments.
