Portobello Praia

Very nice place. Very big and have all you need in one place. We had the AC leaking water but this is due poor management and staff not checking the rooms before handing over to clients. The beach its few minutes walk.

Great location close to everything. Club Ache Moi, restaurants, pharmacy, pizzeria, supermarket. The structure, perhaps a little dated, however, provides great comfort and fun in the common area with a huge swimming pool and bar accessible from the water! Great!! Comfortable rooms equipped with all comforts! Prices well in line and friendliness, a place to consider and share with friends and family. I liked it.

Pool area: Beautiful and clean pool area with 2 huge and one small swimming pools (perfect for kids) ————————— Rooms: Was clean, air-con working (only negative was no soap or Shampoo upon arrival, but at reception they gave us right away) ————————— Service —> Reception was ok/helpful, but only one person spoke Spanish, 0 English), restaurant & bar service was awful, unfriendly staff, slow & 0 motivation occasionally ————————— Clean —> Depends where - rooms, pool area & restaurant was fairly clean, but some areas (garden, tennis court, gym, and some second floors looked like they really needed urgent maintenance - tennis court had construction materials) ————————— Noise —> We believe the music at the pool area was always too noisy as well ————————— Value for money —> Considering the above negative points, the low fare makes it a fairly good value for money, especially if you come with children and make use of the swimming pool area which in the end of the day is a really nice area and the Hotel takes care of it (hopefully they take the reviews seriously and do more maintenance of the rest of the hotel and we are sure this can be a really great place to stay)
