There are places that stay in your heart, not for their luxury or appearance, but for what they make you feel. La Chimenea is one of those places. Javier and Toñi not only welcome you, they welcome you like you're at home, with a closeness and affection that is found in few places today. The place has that family charm that only comes with age, with history alive in every corner. In the past, the townspeople would stop there, on their "poyetes" (small benches), to drink water from the jug, and today we still do, but to enjoy their hospitality, their warmth, and of course, their cooking. Toñi, with her wise hands and generous heart, presents the best of Soria's gastronomy: local produce, homemade recipes, and true flavor. It may not have a Michelin star, but as they say, it has a comet that lights up everything it touches. The house is clean, cozy, with that air of a refuge where you feel like time has stopped. Whether for a stopover or a stay for a few days, La Chimenea is more than just a place to eat or sleep: it's a place you come back to, a place you want to come back to. I give 5 stars to everything because they really can't be more. We have spent one of the best weekends of my life thanks to you Toñi and Javier. They closed their inn for my family of 11 members, an excellent option if you want to celebrate a special day like in our case, my grandparents' golden wedding. We were 2 children, one 9 years old and my daughter, 2 and a half years old, and they had a lot of patience and know how to be, for those people who have posted a comment saying that you can't come here with children... tell them that it has nothing to do with it, although it always depends on the case. The meals were spectacular and they adapted to some requests we made, thank you Toñi because you have a spectacular hand in the kitchen, not to mention how well they explain everything and the meaning they give to each dish and thing in general. Thank you Javier for letting us be in the “old chimney” that is almost 300 years old and showing us those family heirlooms that made us travel a little back in time. The rooms are great, perfect for sleeping, washing up and having a quiet and comfortable time. Also thank you Toñi for recommending what to see in the little town, because thanks to that, we were able to see a deer at sunset, and thanks again to you Javier for recommending places to eat and visit to the whole family. Honestly, I would go again just for them, for the food, and above all, for the memories we have created. I want to emphasize that my parents were there 24 years ago, and although everything has improved a lot, my mother only remembered them, Toñi's food and the great treatment they had. Thank you very much and I highly recommend this place, we stayed two nights. And to finish they had a different breakfast every day with things from the land of Soria, but everything was very varied. Thank you very much for everything and for your patience 🙏

We spent a simply perfect weekend, we took the entire family home, and it was an unforgettable experience. Thank you for everything, Javier and Toñi. We will return, without a doubt.
