Poseidon Beach Hotel

I am very impressed after all the negative comments I have seen and read. Breakfast was a buffet and plenty. Only negative it's a bit out of the way. There's nothing around but a beautiful lovely beach and have pools . But if you like peace and quiet, the ideal location. It was a very comfortable stay they informed me that they have their own restaurant, but we have not tried it.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Everything was perfect and the staff were incredibly friendly.The hotel is located in a quiet and peaceful area, making it perfect for relaxation. I recommend traveling by car or renting one, as there are many secluded beach with crystal-clear water within a half-hour's drive.

We visit Greece quite often. We never experenced such bad service, food was bad, but this is what you will receive if you have food included. I guess if you pay you will be pleased with the food, but once you taste the food, you will never come back here, what about to order more. Hopefully, this is not your first visit to Greece and you know how delicious the Greek food is. Beach is good, rooms are clean, but noisy, we could not sleep 2 nights at least because of the wind. This hotel has great place for sitting outside, but they serve the food inside the restaurant even when weather was 25+ degrees, very hot and pleasant outside. The restaurant was hot as well, not conditioned, the only reason seems to be, eat fast and leave. The music you will eventually hear will come from kitchen, no music at all in the restaurant. Another group of Greek tourists was there, but waiting for us to finish and we were forced to eat quickly and leave the restaurant, so Greek tourist could enter. There was enough place for all, but from what I see food for Greek tourist was quite different from what we have, so sad. The hotel could be good if they have more than 1 person like one of the waiters, very polite, help us take our food outside for dinner. Unfortunately next day we were told, coming from another person serving the tables, they are not allowed to take food outside (it is summer in Greece and you cannot eat outside?). Salad is for 2 people and desert is for 4 people: one dish with fruits. Salad is not good. Not tasty all. The main issue was, we were on organized vacation with other people and groups are not supposed to eat good food, we were thretened like second hand people. Don't forget, we did paid for breakfast and dinner in advance! And that is bad as we cannot decline dinner, it is paid already. You will be surprised to hear that breakfast was worst ever we have in Greece. Even margarin is served, no coffee machine, so be aware, turkish coffee or American (black water). Hope this warning will help others to avoid this place at all costs if you don't want to ruin your vacation. I have to say, I love Greece and delicious Greek food and hospitality. Stay away or you will be disappointed. You have been warned.
