Poseidon La Manga Hotel & Spa Designed for Adults

The hôtel is clean, rooms and bed are good. The hotel is quiet and adults only. The staff is great, from reception to housekeeping. It’s not too hot, there’s always wind. Our stay has been amazing here and we plan to come back.

I stayed in this hotel for two days, I would say it’s okay. It’s comfortable and good enough to stay in. But not the most amazing hotel. But I think they are high for the standard around La Manga as most hotels buildings are old. The service from the staff of great and they are extremely nice and helpful. The location of the hotel is great with good proximity from the beach and restaurants. The rooms are below average to other four stars hotels I stayed in internationally. as they are a bit small and old, but they were clean and comfortable. I would stay here again if I came to La Manga as I don’t think I will find better in other hotels for the same price point.

Extremely disappointing – not worth the price We booked this hotel expecting a relaxing weekend getaway after a long and exhausting work week, but unfortunately, it turned out to be a complete letdown. The hotel’s website lists parking as available, but in reality, there is no hotel parking at all. When I asked about it, the staff simply suggested I walk 1 km to the nearest public parking lot. Wandering around the city and walking in heels late on a Saturday evening was definitely not how we envisioned starting our short break. The hotel itself feels very tired and outdated, especially compared to similar properties in the same price range. Our room had an old, broken air conditioner that didn’t even turn on, and the overall condition of the room didn’t reflect a rate of €240 per night. Frankly, the quality just doesn’t match the cost. We specifically chose this hotel because it advertised a spa, and I had contacted them in advance to make sure massages would be available. I even submitted a request for treatments earlier in the day, but received no reply at all — neither from the hotel nor from the spa team. At check-in, I asked again to confirm the massage appointments, only to be told I needed to call the spa myself after check-in. When I did, I was informed the earliest available slot was Monday — clearly not helpful for a weekend stay. Upon seeing the room, dealing with the non-functioning A/C, and learning that the spa wasn’t even an option, we decided it wasn’t worth compromising. We went back to reception and asked for a refund, which was processed. Our overall impression: this hotel just wants your money. Your needs and experience as a guest are clearly not a priority. Would absolutely not recommend this place to anyone.
