Everything was great, the food, the pool - 25m perfect for swimming, the staff. I would like to especially praise the lifeguards around the pool who worked diligently. There were several of them and did take their work very seriously to avoid accidents.
The food at the hotel is absolutely fantastic – definitely one of the highlights of the stay. The drinks are also very good, especially for an all-inclusive resort. However, there’s a big downside when it comes to the pool area. There are not enough sunbeds, and it’s nearly impossible to find a free spot by the main pool, especially in high season. It seems that many guests reserve loungers early in the morning, and the hotel doesn’t really enforce any rules about it. If you’re planning to spend time by the pool, it’s honestly best to bring your own sunbed and umbrella, just to be safe.
The hotel might have been really nice, but it is must have been 15 years ago. Now there are a lot of issues...At the moment it's 2/5. It can be restored to former standard, but it needs less siga siga and more work work / attention to details. Serious issues: The AC in our room was leaking, it was "fixed", but it started leaking again before the end of our stay. There were 2 huge cockroaches in the room. The reception workers were very indifferent about that. They gave us bug spray, said that it's normal here and if we change room it's gonna be the same. So flash news guys: it's not "normal" in well managed 4 star hotels (even in the Mediterranean area). Minor issues: Drying rack on the balcony was broken. The toilet seat was not properly fixed in place and it moves every time you sit on it. Staff in the dining area is really nice, but unperceptive at the same time. They can pass your table empty handed multiple times and still not pick up an empty plate. The tables under the umbrellas on the beach should be at least rinced under water at the end of the day, yet they aren't. They're really dirty. Fake/plastic flowers don't look good on the dining table, 90s are well behind us, time to get real ones or get rid of them completely. How is it possible there are spider webs near power sockets? And it's not after moving furniture or whatever, it's in plain sight... Now the pros, because it's not all bad: The hotel area is green, with a lot of flowers, fountains and in general well taken care of. The beach is literally 5min. from the room and it's not nearly as crowded as beaches in the center of Leptokarya. The food is good and there's a decent variety of it. There are multiple activities one can participate in e.g. table tennis, basketball, gym, SPA, air hockey. There's a free hotel bus to the center of Leptokarya (not the other way around though, so you have to come back on foot or use a taxi). The rooms are spacious, beds are comfortable.
