The room was excellent and the bed very comfortable. The bathroom was well equipped, with shower gel provided and plenty of towels available. Breakfast was delicious and offered a nice variety. I stayed on the 9th floor and the view was beautiful, which made the stay even more enjoyable. The hotel is located just a 5-minute walk from the metro, which is super convenient. I would definitely stay here again!

The breakfast was great and the room looked nice. Unfortunately we stayed in room 304 with my parents and the AC stopped working on our last night and the bathroom smelled of sewage. My parents both have asthma and they were coughing all night due the heat and smell. I hope they can resolve these issues for future guests. It’s unfortunate as this was our second time staying at this hotel and had no issues the first time back in 2024.

We were genuinely looking forward to our stay at Postillion Hotel Amsterdam, but unfortunately (pun intended), our experience was anything but positive. Before arriving, I sent an email to the hotel in the morning regarding our booking. When we arrived—exhausted after a red-eye flight—we asked the front desk to check the email since we hadn’t received a response. They acknowledged seeing the message but told us they couldn’t accommodate any part of it. We were clearly fatigued, but rather than showing any flexibility or empathy, they charged us extra for an early check-in at 12.45 pm To make matters worse, we were given a twin room with two single beds, which was incorrectly booked by mistake and were traveling as a couple. We politely asked if they could switch us to a double room, but the only word the staff seemed to know was “unfortunately.” Again, no effort was made to find a solution. We had left some belongings nearby and just needed a bike for a short 5-minute ride. We asked to borrow temporarily, and again—“unfortunately,” that couldn’t be done either because they “can’t release the bikes.” Later, we tried calling their service desk multiple times as we needed an iron and some conditioner. Calls were disconnected several times. When we finally reached someone and made the request, no one ever showed up. Honestly, I’m not sure what kind of hospitality this hotel is aiming to provide. Instead of making our stay special, they’ve only made it more difficult and disappointing at every step
