Manageress Matilda extremely polite and helpful. Hotel perfectly situated for the show. I have stayed here last November had a great stay unfortunately this time the hotel resembled a building site. Rooms 7 & 8 needs more soundproofing could hear conversations of occupants plus showers and toilet. Room 7 had steps leading to the bathroom which were a hazard. Both rooms needed a small table to put kettle and cups etc which were only provided on request. Building works started just before 6.20am and continued throughout the day drilling banging voices of the builders raised. Treated my partner niece and nephew to stay at this hotel and we all were very disappointed there was building materials on the stairs and all around the hotel. A painter was painting directly outside of our rooms causing a bit of hassle trying to get out of our rooms. We were never informed that the hotel was being refurbished and that building works would be carried out whilst we were trying to sleep etc. I would appreciate some recompense for our stay if I could have found another hotel to accommodate us we would have done.
Room has nice design, ac working , stuff very friendly!! But Shower has mold ! For girls wouldn’t recommend. Despite everything very clean! location is good for entertainment.Metro station also close, pharmacy and market nearby, very good italian restaurant next to hotel. My experience was 50/50: I paid 170€/day and i got mold rotten ceiling ( this is why i left 3 star, mold on the ceiling is unacceptable!!!). Dislocated shower head and water splashing allover the shower room , then you get wet floor. Hair dryer barely works if you put a lot of hand power to press the button so it can blow. Breakfasts located few blocks up the heel. I would suggest for owner to stay themselves and feel the place. To fix mold on the ceiling doesn’t take that much effort!!! I have sensitive skin and i had allergic reaction right away and was struggling with that the whole stay.
What a disappointment. We stayed here on the first night of our honeymoon and arrived to discover stained bed sheets with several hairs inside the covers. The door number was also hanging on by tape. Upon discussing this with the friendly receptionist he informed us there were no other rooms. We had arrived at 10pm and were too tired to find somewhere else to stay. He gave us clean bedsheets for us to change the sheets ourselves... There was also ongoing construction work which began at 8am. I found the receptionist the following day rude and unhelpful. No effort has been made by management to make it up to us after our complaints. It was our worst experience in a hotel ever and would advise everyone to stay away.
