Probably the best stay in Vietnam. We have have been travelling the country for 3 weeks, no doubt the best decision to end our trip with a one week retreat in Poulo Condor. Everything was incredibly perfect from the style/villa to the whole staff service. Thank you to everyone we met! Special thanks to Nhuan who has always been available for any requests. She helped us anytime we needed support! Our little girls will not forget her. We would definetely come back in family.

I loved staying at this unexpected gem. I had no expectations before arrival as contrary to other hotels and resorts I looked at, I felt their marketing was low key. I was attracted to what I thought was its french colonial architecture. The resort is in the middle of a wild park in front of the beach, not far from the airport however, a good 20+ minute ride to town. The villas were jndeed french colonial and transmitted the decadence of a bygone era. Really wonderful and spacious. All very peaceful and serene. Breakfast was from an a la carte menu with extensive options. Dinner was also quite good, if not gourmet, but with a beautiful setting in the garden. I did not try the pool as it was facing the mountain, but the loungers facing the sea had a nice breeze. I did not try the sea either as the water seemed particularly shallow; I opted instead to charter boats in the afternoons to discover and go swimming in neighbouring islands, which was quite wonderful. The spa treatment was great and I ended up having two 90-minute treatments in 3 days. The staff were always kind and helpful including Khang, the guest assistant who was always available and helpful to answer queries. The ultimate test is whether I would go back and I definitely would.

I paid a premium for a family suite and two junior suites ($2600 for 4 days) but cannot even bring in outside food. They are not about making customers happy but about maximizing profit . So they made us eat outside on the parking lot. The food in the resort is over priced and tastes not as good as the food you'll find in town. They should publish on their website their policies. If I had known no outside food is allowed I would not have booked here. It's a ridiculous policy. They would rather follow ridiculous policy than make customers happy. I'd expect better customer service when paying so much money. This is a resort not a jail but we were treated like prisoners. We are the paying customers not prisoners. It is embarrassing to be stopped as though I'm doing something criminal . I blame the management for making ridiculous policies and have no understanding of customer service. I don't go to a resort to be harass about bringing food into my own rooms. The employees are just following orders of incompetent management and I do not blame them but the management I wanted to stay in the town but my family wanted to stay here so I booked it for them and stayed in town by myself. When I visit my family on the resort, it's a $20 fee. I also have to be out by 9pm. It feels more like a jail. Really dumb policies. Their policies are not about maximizing customer happiness but their profit. I don't recommend this place at all. If I can give negative points I would.
