Such a gem! Driving up the mountainside we did not expect this exquisite destination. Historic yet relevant. The rooms had all the modern amenities yet you felt like you stepped back in time. The restaurant was lovely with fresh and locally forward cuisine. My only regret is that we did not stay longer. It was truly one of our loveliest moments in Portugal.
The hotel is an old monastery that has been modernized. It was amazing. The staff was great. We also ate at the restaurant, and the food was outstanding. I highly recommend.
It is very high end and a calming get away in a distant location! Dinner is very good and the pool is very beautiful! My only concern is the wasps by the pool. There must have been 1 or 2 dozen. Over all 10/10!!!
