Pousada offers exceptional accommodation that greatly enhanced our experience during our visit to Bragança. The facilities were impeccably clean and spacious, making them ideal for a multi-day stay. The bed was extraordinarily comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. While the breakfast room was quite busy, the quality of the breakfast was commendable. The staff were consistently pleasant, professional, and accommodating, contributing significantly to the overall positive experience. We were thoroughly impressed and would not hesitate to stay here again in the future.

I have stayed in many of the Portuguese Pousadas over the past past 7 years each with their own distinct ambience and style but this one surprised me as it was based upon a 1980s three story hotel with little or no historical style. In fact as it was attached to a Michelin star restaurant the staff seemed to ignore all guests who didn’t make a reservation in the restaurant and were left to their own devices after 7:00pm in the lounge/ bar area. Check in staff and the breakfast team were more than helpful but the evening staff either didn’t bother or were too busy keeping up an appearance for their restaurant ignoring others.

Very dated Pousada. I’ve been to several in Portugal and this one was straight out of the 80’s with no charm or character. The Hotel was clean and service good. Only positive quality is the view of the castle which the staff recommends you drive too because the long and steep walk (last thing we wanted to hear after a 5 hr drive). Breakfast was very good and we didn’t eat dinner at the Michelin restaurant within the Pousada because the prices and menu weren’t justified with the given dilapidated surrounds.
