Located inside the village walls atop the mountain, the location is truly special and the views are simply breathtaking.

Excellent place to pass a weekend to rest or to visit the region. Breakfast is superbe. Bar is nice and of great quality. The young chef is adorable and full of energy to give you a great experience from the fresh produce of the region.... The staff are very helpful, generous and kind. The village is so beautiful and quiet 🥰 Excellent region for Food and Wines, people can be proud! Best cheeses I have eaten in Portugal were there at the breakfast . Thank you.

Marvão is charming, and staying there overnight is already magical. The views from the room, bar, and restaurant are breathtaking. The red wine served at the bar is excellent. The room itself is old, quite cold, and needs an update. Breakfast deserves a special mention. The dining room is beautiful, with almost every table offering amazing views. The windows are very clean, making it even better to enjoy the scenery. The service is excellent—employees work non-stop, serve efficiently, yet remain friendly and available. The coffee is very good, and the food is tasty. Even though I don’t eat meat or sheep/goat cheeses, I still enjoyed it a lot and loved the focus on local products. The olive oil and mushrooms deserve special attention. In general, all the employees are very helpful and put in a lot of effort to create a great stay. Overall, the experience was very good, and we loved our weekend in Marvão.
