A fantastic place. We should have stayed 2 days! (Except the next pousada was just as good). As you ascend the mountain, following the gps, you're thinking, 'Is this it?' You come to the village and feel like you have to stop at the church because the streets are so narrow but no, you continue on right to the front door. Fantastic views, excellent service. The pool has an amazing view; save some time for it (my biggest regret)! The breakfast is so so good. For dinner we walked down the street to a cute little place on the corner run by two older folks who made us excellent food we know was fresh because I helped carry it in! There's a castle ruin right behind the pousada, on the top of the mountain, that's really fun to walk around on. Those were some clever folks who designed that fortification. Highly recommended!
Very nice place to stay at with a great view of the city and theres also a castle you can go check out , the room was very nice great beds cant complain
hilltop location is hard to beat. insist on superior room with the view of the valley, or you might be greatly disappointed. rooms are quite dated, but clean and fairly spacious. access to the property with car bigger that VW Golf could be limited.
