Pousada e Chalé Lote 22

I genuinely don't know what all the bad reviews are about. We stayed here for a single night and the staff did everything humanly possible to handle all our requests. From my point of view they went above and beyond to keep us happy even though we stayed just for a single night. As for the place itself, we were pleased with the amenities, the air-conditioning worked nicely and the bed and bathroom were alright. Breakfast was pretty nice and during lunchtime as well as in the evening they also serve lunch and dinner (not included in the booking, obviously). The caipirinhas (which are a bit on the pricey end) from the bar/restaurant were amongst the best that I ever had (and I say this as a Brazilian). It's also worth mentioning that this place is VERY close to the dock in Nova Brasília, which is one of the two main points for getting to the Ilha do Mel. Which is very convenient if you're travelling with some luggage.

O restaurante na Ilha do Mel, em Nova Brasília. As refeições e lanches são deliciosos, muito bem servidos, e saborosos. O preço está muito bom em relação aos valores da Ilha. Atendimento excelente e um ambiente agradável! Vale muito a pena. O prato feito lá é muito bem servido. Todos os pratos você tem que estar com muita fome para conseguir comer tudo jkkkkkk

I don’t even know where to start! The owner was incredibly rude!!! He was having an argument with his partner, therefore he randomly insulted me once I ordered (silly considering that I’m a guest and regardless of any situation he must be professional) anyhow unfortunately that wasn’t the only ‘bad situation’ I experienced. I almost got robbed by their staff as I saw them try to take my phone. The food has mosquito everywhere and there were people taking illegal substances in the bar. Awful experience and highly don’t recommend anyone to go there.
