Pousada Estrela D'Água

Hands down this hotel is the best hotel yet that I've stayed at in Trancoso. During my last visit I stayed in town, mostly because we wanted to be where all of the night time action is and walk back to the hotel. I’m from Michigan, United States and highly recommend Estrela d'Agua. During my research for places to stay, Pousada Estrela d'Agua checked all the boxes for features I was looking for. Hotel is located 4 min drive to main center of town so it was easy to go back and fourth for drinks and dinner, hotel is located on the beach, main pool area and breakfast area has view of ocean, super clean guest rooms, bed and sheets were super comfortable, I wanted a room with a private pool and they have this type of room available, entire staff from front desk team to the landscapers were extremely genuine and friendly, attentive pool service team. I have nothing negative to say and I have no constructive critiques. I stay at hotels around the world on a continuous basis throughout the year for work and pleasure; so I have a good gauge on what to look for in hotels. Great job Estrela d'Agua team!!!!

The beach experience was ruined by loud music. The music volume kept being increased to a level that you could barely have a conversation, even after asking to lower it to at least the initial volume

In fact this hotel deserves no stars, lousy! We came in 6 adults, 1 baby and 1 7 year old. My husband is British and his first time in Brazil. And guess what? Just horrible things to say. Unfortunately, I wanted an amazing trip for my family and my husband coming the first time to my country. First we bought to stay in the bungalow and we also wanted to buy to stay on the lounger Pay both !!!!! They did not accept And besides they didn't offer towels The waiter named Whinderson said we would either stay in the bungalow or on the chairs (chairs !!!! Neither sunbed was) ashamed right? How will a person sunbathe in a chair? It is absolutely a shame Then another waiter comes and says we could afford both Then the manager comes and says no And to improve the situation no one speaks English? There is no menu in English I'm sorry to inform but the Brazilian mentality is years and years ago. That's why our wonderful country doesn't go forward. A hint . If the customer can not do anything. The hotel is for guests only Because that was better What to make others ashamed of Besides everything was dirty No one cleaned the table. Anyway! A shame . Na verdade esse hotel não merece nenhuma estrela , péssimo ! Viemos em 6 adultos , 1 bebê e 1 criança de 7 anos . Meu marido é britânico e a primeira vez dele no Brasil . E adivinhem ? Somente coisas horríveis à dizer . Infelizmente , eu queria uma viajem incrível pra minha família e pro meu marido vindo a primeira vez pro meu país . Primeiramente compramos pra ficar no bangalô e também queríamos comprar para ficar na espreguiçadeira Pagar os dois !!!!! Eles não aceitaram E além disso não ofereciam toalhas O garçom chamado Whinderson disse que ou ficaríamos no bangalô ou nas cadeiras ( cadeiras !!!! Nem espreguiçadeira era ) vergonha né ? Como uma pessoa vai tomar sol numa cadeira ? É absolutamente uma vergonha Depois outro garçom vem e fala que poderíamos pagar os dois Depois o gerente vem e fala que não E pra melhorar a situação ninguém fala inglês ? Não tem cardápio em inglês Sinto muito informar mas a mentalidade brasileira está anos e anos atrás . Por isso que nosso país que é maravilhoso não vai pra frente . Uma dica . Se o cliente não pode fazer nada . Que o hotel seja somente para hóspedes Porque era melhor isso Do que fazer os outros passarem vergonha Além que tudo era sujo Ninguém limpava a mesa . Enfim ! Uma vergonha . Pessimo
