We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The service was impeccable from start to finish, the staff were attentive and warm, and the views were absolutely breathtaking. Our room was comfortable and beautifully maintained, making the whole experience feel special. The only area that fell short for us was the food. We tried dinner twice during our stay, as well as breakfast, and unfortunately each meal was disappointing compared to the high standards set by everything else at the hotel. Because of this, we chose to dine elsewhere for the rest of our visit. If it wasn’t for the food, I would have definitely given a full 5-star review. Everything else about the hotel was outstanding, and with improvements to the dining experience, it would truly be perfect.
Setting is nice. Ideal for quite getaway. Rooms are a bit dated and spartan, but clean. Staff is very friendly. In house restaurant serves Portuguese food, and service is very good. Pool is nice, but also victim of sunbed hoarders.
Incredible location inside an old monastery, great base for discovering the region. Top food, we ate here every night for 3 nights and were never let down. Special shout out to our server Carolina, service with a smile and great humor. We will definitely return.
