Excellent service, friendly employees, delicious food made on site, clean and comfortable cabin with a glorious bathtub big enough for 2. They also let us bring our dog. Também foi permitido levar nosso cachorro! Os funcionários são muito caprichados. Com certeza vamos voltar! The only problem was that the hotel was a little difficult to find. The hotel is located outside the city of Gonçalves, in a neighborhood called Distrito de Costas (keep that in mind when you're following signs). Because there is no cell phone service in the mountains, it was hard (impossible) to use the Google Maps. Luckily, we had a traditional electronic GPS that doesn't depend on Brazilian cell phone service, so we used the coordinates of the hotel from the reservation printout (there are also coordinates available on Google Maps). The coordinates weren't the exact spot of the hotel, but they were far enough along on the dirt road leading the hotel that we were able to use hotel signs to guide us the rest of the way (another 10 minutes or so). Give yourself some extra time to get there and try to drive in the daytime so you don't get lost as easily. It's definitely worth it! Once you've gotten to the hotel, it's easy to go back and forth into Gonçalves proper (though the hotel has its own trail, waterfall, and restaurant so you can just stay there all day and relax if you want to!).

Excellent impression since the first look.... This place is amazing.. Nothing to complain... The owner is a very open hearth... And very helpful.... I fully recommend this place for everyone.
