Pousada Vila Camurim

6 out 5 stars. 2 mains reasons: Cleanness: in a town were the streets are made of sand, the rooms are spotless. Service: the staff was super friendly and extremely helpful, going above and beyond. Best service I had in a long time. The hotel is great, food both for breakfast and others meals were tasty . The pools is a godsend and well maintained. Will definitely stay here again.

Outstanding Pousada with a lot of personal touch. Likely the best place to stay when visiting Lencois. - We had an amazing stay at Pousada Vila Camurim, while visiting the Lencois Maranhenses. They provide every guest a very unique and personal experience. Noemi, the manager, came to meet us as soon as we arrived at the little village of Atins. She helped us decide what we wanted to visit and also organized all of the tours for us, using local companies/guides. This gave us an amazing opportunity to get to know a bit how people live in this wonderful place called Atins. The Lencois are an absolutely amazing and unique feat of Nature, and we loved visiting, swimming in the fresh water lagoons, watching the amazing sunsets from the peak of the sand dunes, etc. Despite the amazing and rustic setting, Atins has great tourism infrastructure, with good restaurants and plenty of opportunity to also relax and decompress. We can't wait to be back.

Disappointing experience. We stayed 3 days for high price but no service. Our room was not even done 1 time during our 3 nights stay. Be careful the hotel’s partner charge double price for transfers and tours compared to the market
