Pousada Villa Magnolia

I stayed in a room on the ground floor. It was clean and cozy. We loved the hotel’s atmosphere, and the staff were always welcoming. The location made it easy to walk to most of the city’s attractions. I would recommend to my family and friends.

This Posada is beautiful. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and cozy. They serve breakfast that consists on different kinds of bread, fruit, cheese and orange juice. Totally worth it.

I got a little disappointed with the customer service. There was a live show by a band at an establishment located next to the Pousada Villa Magnolia and it went on until 3 am. In addition to my wife and I, 2 friends from the U.S. came on vacation with us. No one could sleep that night! We were informed by the Pousada manager that this was an external problem, therefore nothing could be done for us. I complained to receptionist and asked him to call the police (I was informed by the receptionist that it would not solve the issue, since the police no longer do that kind of service (go to parties to stop loud noises). I called the police several times, I was informed that they did not receive any complaints from the Pousada. In addition, the internet was disconnecting all the time (at least in the room where both my wife and I and my friends stayed) and videos did not load quickly. Maybe the Pousada needs to invest a little more in routers and in a faster internet?
