Terribly disappointing experience, on the border of being fraudulent: - The room was expensive, dark, dirty and full of mold. - Cleaning equipment had been left in our room. - Mosquito poison had been left on our nighttable. [Not good in general, possibly a felony when there are children in the room.] - The aircon sounded like a jet engine, so remained off during the entire stay - could not turn it on while in the room because it was too loud, could not leave it on when leaving the room because the power cuts out automatically when noone's there. - Breakfast was a few pieces of inedible rock they called "bread" - clearly days old. A few reheated "pão de queijo" that tasted like cardboard. Cold coffee. Cereal, but no milk. Teabags, but no hot water. Fruit that had gone bad. - Breakfast was served late: we were there 30 minutes after the breakfast allegedly had opened, and the staff were all sitting relaxing outside when we came. When they saw us, they ran into the kitchen and started making the breakfast. - Images on the hotel website are obviously PHOTOSHOPPED! - The staff was completely unapologetic when confronted with any of this, most unfriendly hotel staff I have ever dealt with. - From start to end, a horrible experience.

Not as advertised. This hotel hasn’t been maintained in years. I would not recommend staying there.
