Location wise, it is difficult to beat this place. Forest on one side, river on the other, the resort is sandwiches in the middle. I would give it 20/10 for location alone. Worthy mention of the recently installed lift which now brings guests from the main road, down to the resort level. After that a short walk on a bridge over the bustling river, brings you to the reception. Very friendly service staff. Ofcourse do not expect 5-star city hotel service - you are in the mountains afterall. Sometimes slow but always obliging with a big smile. The rooms and large and have all basic amenities - air conditioning, storage, soap/shampoo/slippers. Very comfy bed and good quality linen! Food is excellent. We travelled with foodie friends who couldn't stop racing abt the tandoori chicken! Sit with your feet in the river. Or read a book at any of the decks. There is a simple badminton court, yoga/meditation room, spa/sauna (we didn't use this). There are short and long treks around. The place is picturesque. And it is very easy to go to Dharamshala and McLeod Ganj both by a short cab ride. Alternatively , you can go to Dharamshala and take the cable car up to McLeod Ganj.

After spending two nights in Beautuful serene Naddi and the one night in crowded Mcleodganj we decided to spend two nights at this beautiful natures retreat surrounded by Dhauladhar mountains and with a hill backdrop and greenery of tall pine trees and set bang in front of the magical flowing perennial Manooni steam /rivulet which is easily accessible It’s located off the road and one has to go down by the recently built lift ( earlier it was a short downhill trek) and then the walk across the exquisite bridge and one reaches this beautifully designed ecoresort . One can sit for hours (as we did ) enjoying the sound of the flowing water having some chilled Beer,tea and snacks and reading kindles and enjoying occasional dips in the fresh chilled water of the flowing rivulet The staff is so friendly and the food they serve is fresh and tasty The rooms are like earthy huts with good sit out overlooking the stream below There are plenty of opportunities to walk /trek and see lots of birds amongst nature The owners Amita and Kishore ji are very welcoming and their cute friendly Beagle Dog Leo adds to the charm We had a great two days there and even though the last day monsoons hit Dharamshala but apart from the inconvenience of our flight being cancelled the next day due to the weather,the experience of enjoying the lovely monsoon weather more than made up for it . It certainly is a a hidden gem especially for those who want a eco friendly experience without the hustle bustle and noise . Would definitely recommend it and already looking forwards to another stay there we celebrated my birthday There and what better way can one have .

We found the staff going out of their way to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The HR practices initiated by the promoters MsAmeeta and Mr Thakur were quite commendable with birthdays of staff members being celebrated together. The resort is very quiet and located away from the noise of the town. They took care of every guest as if we were family. Although our stay was marred by incidents on the border, yet we never felt the necessity of moving out of the safety and comfort of the place. The only things lacking were the TV set and newspapers, but they were not missed in the serenity of the place.
