Prana Boutique Hotel

Had a very pleasant stay here. Hotel and rooms are in excellent condition, staff is friendly and location is decent with the main area with bars/restaurants in 10-15min walking distance. Breakfast was a big disappointment however. It is served a la carte with only a small amount of free options and small portion sizes. In case you want more food or different options you have no other option than to pay. I would rather save the breakfast share of the room rate and spend it somewhere else for a proper breakfast.

Nice pool area although very empty, probably due to very expensive bare prices. Roof top is amazing, but also a little too quiet. Breakfast was very disappointing and the rooms were quiet boring as well, just a normal hotel room.

I wouldn’t normally do this as I have a hotel my self in tulum but I’m furious that you tried to make my wife pay to use your bathroom when she is heavily pregnant. She had no cash on her and it caused her to have an issue. I assume this is not the hotel owner or manager but a person on front desk trying to scam 100 pesos. 5 bucks for a pee !!!! ??? I also understand this, if she was not pregnant but who ever owns this hotel should check this review as the name prana translates directly as “life force” and this is exactly the opposite of what the name suggests. I’m sure the rooms and the hotel is nice but I’m just really upset that my wife was treated like this nearly 8 months pregnant.
