A wonderful stay in the heart of Rome! My family and I had a fantastic experience at Prassede Palace Hotel during our first trip to Rome. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome, comfortable, and well taken care of. A special thank-you to Leo, who truly went above and beyond—patiently answering all of our questions, offering amazing local recommendations, and even helping us make restaurant reservations. His kindness and professionalism made a real difference in our stay. The hotel’s central location made it easy to explore the city, and the service was consistently top-notch. I’d absolutely recommend staying here—especially if it’s your first time in Rome. The team at Prassede Palace knows how to make guests feel at home.
Amazing location in relation to major landmarks. My room was facing the inner street and the Chapel next door and had a charming feel. Major compliments to the staff and every single receptionist who were friendly, kind and helpful. They were quick and attentive to our needs. Super patient with me when I spoke Italian badly haha! (Best teachers as well!).
We stayed at this hotel in Rome and had a mixed experience. Upon arrival, we were very warmly greeted by Leo at the front desk, who was incredibly friendly and helpful. However, we were surprised to learn only at check-in that there was ongoing construction starting at 8:00 AM daily (and even a bit earlier one morning). Unfortunately, there had been no prior email or notice, which would have helped us manage expectations. The construction was quite loud- not ideal for a vacation. The room itself was nicely designed, modern and stylish, and cleaned daily with fresh towels and restocked amenities. Housekeeping did a great job maintaining cleanliness. That said, there were some noticeable signs of water damage in the room. The ceiling had several spots, and some floorboards near the bathroom were damaged, possibly from previous leaks. We also noticed a temporary leak in the lobby upon check-in, which may point to broader water-related maintenance issues in the building. The location is convenient, about a 15-minute walk to the Colosseum, and overall, the hotel has a lot of potential. Just be aware of the construction noise and water damage issues if you’re planning to stay soon. With better communication and a few repairs, this could be a much more comfortable experience.
