The staffs are quite friendly and offer good service. They are willing and ready to help the guests. We are really appreciated for their help to book the night Bus ticket from Istanbul to cappadocia.
The location is perfect for everything. Walking distance from great places in the city and the tram and metro are five minutes away. The neighborhood is great too. Very safe and all your basic needs are close to the hotel. Staff is very friendly and helpful. I couldn't give the place a five star rating because of the rooms themselves, Everything in the room is quite old and needs maintenance or replacment, lights doesn't work all the time and the bathroom has bad ventilation. WiFi in the rooms is also week and doesn't work half of the time but, if I would go back to Istanbul I would pick this place agian because of the location and the people. As a family on holiday all we needed is a place to sleep-in, a shower and a toilet and this place provided those essentials. For me the location was the main reason I choose this place and it was better than expected.
Can't say this was the most horrible "hotel" we've been to but it's very close. The room looked nothing like the photos we'd seen on Alibaba. It was super noisy day and night as it was in ground floor just beside the reception desk and practically in the middle of the street. (with a shop window!) We felt like sleeping in the middle of the street. The cafes played music all the time and we heard it all. I'm an online teacher and it was almost impossible to teach in so much noise. It was also impossible to sleep at night! We could even smell it when someone smoked outside! The room could be cleaner and less damp. Oh and on our second day, we left the key inside and told the receptionist about it. He had a bunch of keys and none of them happened to be the room's. He charged us 80 TL to call someone and open the door. It was our fault but shouldn't they have another key? They already had keys for all other rooms. The staff are okay. They tried to fix the TV in our room and they did fix it. We appreciate it.
