Great location but very overpriced and out dated. The beds were very uncomfortable, bathroom had mold, and the rooftop pool was very unappealing—would not recommend. There are no room amenities (complimentary water, coffee/tea, etc.). If you’re looking to save money compared to beach-front name brands, this is an OK option.
Horrible Hotel. PLEASE be careful with your belongings. The room cleaners tried to steal our money and devices. We reported to the front desk and they didn’t even pay us attention.
At 11:00 Pm I asked the front desk for water. The man answered by saying room service is closed and proceeded to close the phone on my face. Upon this incident I went down to the lobby to see who this man was and why he cannot at least guide me to see where I can buy water. He then told me to go back to my country and responded to me with racism saying things like I am not welcome in Brazil. Another kind gentleman helped me to the back office in which I was then able to fill my bottle, a simple solution that was not presented at the beginning and instead I was met with racism and an unnecessary argument with an grumpy man. The initial room I booked was absolutely filthy with dust on the floor and headboard and pillows with stains on them (one even looked like a footprint) however we were compensated generously with an upgraded, clean room. The best and only good part about this hotel is it’s ideal location and breakfast which was great. Other than that, staff were unhelpful and some were even RACIST. You are highly likely to experience some sort of dissatisfaction with the cleanliness of their rooms and their photos online were extremely deceiving. The only nice employee was Camila who was extremely helpful and welcoming. And as for that racist gentleman I hope no one else has to experience his distasteful attitude and helpless nature.
