Premier Inn Dresden City Prager Strasse

We stayed at the Premier Inn Dresden City Prager Straße in December 2024 during the Christmas market, for 3 nights. The location is absolutely perfect for exploring Dresden on foot. The hotel is just a short walk from the main train station and very close to the historic center. Right in front of the hotel is a large shopping mall with restaurants and every store you can imagine. During the Christmas season, the markets are just a few steps away — it’s magical! The room was cozy, tidy, and had a comfortable bed. What I loved most was the view from our window — I could see the shopping mall and all those wonderful stores right from my bed! The room is compact but functional, equipped with a kettle, tea, coffee, and a working TV. Breakfast was a highlight: tasty, with many buffet-style options. The staff at the reception were very polite and helpful, making our stay even more pleasant. We highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and the perfect base to explore Dresden

Your usual Premier Inn but newer. Parking option that has direct access is kinda steep about 22euros per 24 i think with no in/out priveleges. I had to leave in the night and they charged me 8euros for 3 hrs. There is a lot down the street (St. Petersburger Straße, 01069 Dresden, Germany) that is free from 8pm to 8am. And the most you'll pay is 6 euros for up to 24hrs. I parked 9pm and was leaving before 8am so i only had to pay 0.05 euros😁

We were very disappointed with our stay at Premier Inn in Dresden. The room was not clean at all, we found stains on the walls, the bedding sheet didn’t seem fresh, and there were insects in the bathroom, including some I had to kill inside the tub. As a couple, we were expecting at least basic cleanliness and comfort, but unfortunately, this stay did not meet those expectations. Definitely not what we hoped for from a hotel of this brand.
