Premier Luxury Mountain Resort

Really great hotel, but be careful booking if you have an allergy! I hesitated giving 5* because of the allergy issues we identified, but overall, this is a great hotel with great staff. The hotel has so many great features, amazing pools, spa, brilliant kids clubs, and lovely rooms. Overall, it is a really great place to stay! However, we booked half-board, and the processes for allergies were not good enough! The hotel restaurant is a buffet and has signs next to the dishes. However, the allergy information on the signs was wrong. We were informed that this was because the chefs cook fresh / unique fishes every night, and so the allergy information changes every day. However, as I informed them (waitresses, chef, manager), it would be better that they did not put any allergy information out, rather than display incorrect information. Nothing changed, though, and this was the same night after night - and it made me fear for anybody who trusted the signs and ate any food without speaking directly to the chefs. The chefs were very good though, and when asked, the chefs would come out from the kitchen and discuss the dishes one by one! Also, unfortunately, one of the staff (not a chef) put gluten free bread in the bowl of normal bread - which shows a huge and fundamental lack of understanding and a lack of training on cross contamination of allergies! We assume that this lack of knowledge did not spread to the kitchen, and my wife, who has ceoliac, was perfectly well (having eaten in the hotel every morning and every evening). However, the front of restaurant staff also need to be trained on allergies. Bur overall, all the staff we encountered at the hotel were brilliant, and to reemphasise, I think this is a great hotel (with great food, for people without allergies). We would definitely go back, but if we did, we would hope that they significantly improve their allergy processes!

This hotel was everything we needed it to be. The night before the holiday, I read the reviews and there had a been a number of negatives ones posted since we had booked so I was really worried. BUT I didn't need to. Room was really clean, and bed was comfy - beautiful balcony over looking the outdoor pool! Shower was powerful and never ran out of hot water (as some reviews said!) Breakfast was great, with lots of options to get you ready for the day on the slopes. We had a couples massage also before getting picked up for the airport and was perfect after 3 days on the slopes. The indoor pool area is also nice. We were really happy with our stay, don't be put off by anomaly reviews!

I stayed at Premier Luxury Mountain Resort in Bansko with high expectations, given its name and rating. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, but I can’t say it lived up to the “luxury” label. The staff were friendly and professional, and the location is great — close to the mountain and the town center. The room was comfortable and clean, but the interior and amenities felt a bit dated and not quite at the 5-star standard I was hoping for. The spa and wellness area was decent, but nothing exceptional. The same goes for the breakfast — good variety, but average in terms of quality. It felt more like a solid 4-star hotel rather than a true luxury resort. It’s a nice place for a short stay if you’re visiting Bansko, but don’t expect anything too special or high-end. For the price, I expected a bit more attention to detail and a more refined atmosphere. Overall, a good experience, but I wouldn’t call it a standout destination.
