We had a lovely romantic getaway at the Cutty Sark. The sea facing room had an incredible view where we got to watch a beautiful sunrise from. The rooms are clean and luxurious - the bed was so big a comfortable, and we had everything we needed. The staff were very friendly and helpful and made our stay more special. The proximity to the beach is awesome. We had the cliché romantic walk on the beach after our meal. Definitely recommend for visitors and families to the south coast.

We stayed here for 2 weeks for a wedding and had a fantastic stay. Our room was nice, the facilities were clean and being just a 2 minute walk from to the beach was very convenient. The breakfast was amazing, the food was fresh and there was always a good selection. The staff here was next level, very friendly and always offering a helping hand. We had 2 small children and they were not only very accommodating and patient, but very kind and welcoming to our children. We would absolutely stay here if we come back.

Must say I was underwhelmed by our experience. Started so well with very friendly staff assisting me to fix my booking. On arrival greeted by friendly and warm staff, however the stay was not up to standard. Our room was tiny even after an “upgrade”. Our room had a view of the buildings in front broken roof, the kitchen vent blew and made so much noise 24/7 so had to keep windows closed. Airicon in room didn’t work The system I managed to turn on made so much noise we couldn’t sleep. Our safe stopped working in the middle of the night. Was informed by staff that they couldn’t help. After pleading with the gent at the front desk he asked someone else who in two seconds gave me a manual key and sorted me out. Very annoyed the first person didn’t even try and just dismissed me. Food was sub average. Sadly the hotel gives a feeling of what once was a great experience. I hope they can save this gem
