The location of the hotel is very good. The peace, relaxation, and romantic vibes will make u love the place. The rooms are big and comfortable. There is a heater and AC for both climates. In winter the cold is freezing as it comes along with winds. Everything about the place is perfect.

Recently stayed at Premier Resort The Moorings in Knysna and was thoroughly impressed from the moment I arrived. The service was exceptional—every staff member, from the front desk to housekeeping, the kitchen team, and servers, went out of their way to make me feel welcome. Their friendliness and attentiveness truly stood out. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and every request was met with a smile. A genuinely memorable stay thanks to a fantastic team.

Knysna premier moorings hotel, Worst hotel experience ever!!! In my 35 years of guiding i have never experienced a more careless and could not give a damn attitude as such experienced with my group of 49 guests. The hotel ran out of water due to a bust pipe and firstly no one cared to inform my group of what the situation was, there was no attempt from management to make a plan of some sort and there was no simpathy towards the guests and their discomfort. There was no water to flush, no drinking water and no comittment from management to either supply extra water or make a plan. My group consisted of 12 families and 14 children under 9 years of age. When we asked what the situation is , all we got is : is out of our hands answers. We eventually had to look for another hotel and we were told that it was our problem if we decided to leave, and they would not refund us for the other days. We were supposed to be there for 4 nights. 2 full days without water to drink or wash. Disgusting behaviour and attitude from a hotel. The staff attitude towards the whole situation was absolutely appaling, including the manager who even got upset with us for asking what is the plan forward. We had to buy 30x5 lt bottles of water to supply our guests. The hotel should have been doing that.
