Premotel Premium Motel Am Park

I enjoyed my stay, which coincided with Easter weekend. Hence this business-focused hotel was almost empty. Very strange feeling as the place is massive, but at least we never had to wait for anything. The rooms feel modern enough, and the beds are very comfortable, although I could have done with an additional pillow, and perhaps a kettle with tea/coffee would be a nice touch. The breakfast was a buffet with freshly made omelettes if desired, plus a selection of continental and hot items. The overall design of the hotel is quite funny - think Golden Girls go corporate - but at least it has an identity unlike a lot of modern hotels with their standardised and cheap furnishings. There is a tram stop to the centre not far from the hotel, and car parking is €5 a day I believe, unless you manage to snag one of the few spots on the road outside the hotel. Would happily stay again if the price was right.

Pluses - clean comfortable room equipped with ceiling fan in humid and hot weather. Friendly service. Good price. Location not too far for visiting Documenta. Minuses - slow service or not enough people at the front desk. Very tacky decor in lobby.

The hotel is like something from the film the shining. Very bright and sparkling but hardly no guests. The restaurant was closed the bar was open but nobody in there.
