President Hotel & Conference Venue

The toilet in the rooms didn't flush, tried complaining but no one could assist, had to use the bucket system .The linen in the bed wasn't changed for 8 days had to ask housekeeping to change it. Only their breakfast was nice. They don't give access to a microwave to warm up your supper if you buy outside. I stayed here for 12 days. The longest 12 days of my life.

This place is very dirty, dont waste yuor money. The toilet not working, towels were dirty with traces of hair on them and the bathroom floor. No working aircon, no working wifi. The bed sheets had stains. The kettle-are a health hazard, very dirty. The worst part is the hotel management and staff. Imagine having morebthatn 10 people complain in one night and the management is doesnt care to be present or even pick up their calls. Dont waste your money here. Imagine being told to sleep in a romm without a working toilet coz maintenance only comes in the morning. You pay for services you will not get

President Hotel at Bloemfontein was a real disappointment. We saw the hotel while on Naval hill reserve. The hotel looked nice, but our stay was far from nice. After spending seven hours on the road and arriving at 14h00 the rooms we booked were not ready for check-in. So, we waited about 30 minutes. The TV’s reception on most of the channels were not watchable - could not be viewed, there was no movie channels only sport and new channels. No Wi-Fi in all 3 rooms. Breakfast was a very limited buffet on the first day. My colleague was advised he could only have two eggs. Very limited food for a vegetarian – in fact nothing suitable for a vegetarian. The chef made a cheese & veg sandwich which was toasted on the same area where the eggs were fried. On the 2nd day there was no buffet, and the menu was even more limited. The cost of each room was about R 1600-00. Overall, highly priced. My room did not have a safe to store valuables. If you are looking for a place to stay at Bloemfontein. This is NOT the place to stay!
